One family owned 1965 Wards Riverside 250-D moped. This Italian retro-ride is in all original and complete condition but currently not running. It can be purchased in one of two conditions; Builder’s Stock or Fully Reconditioned. These mopeds are very simple to repair and restore if you are looking for that first-time restoration project that you can be very proud of once you finish it. We have lots of useful resources/reference material available to you at no cost that includes copies of  repair and parts manuals, engine rebuilding parts list, paint codes, etc. You can even purchase a high quality reproduction decal set from us to complete your bike!

Of course if you want to own this bike but not have to fix it yourself,  we can help you out there as well. We will fully recondition this moped and deliver it to your driveway for additional fees. Reconditioning of this moped would include a professionally rebuilt engine/carb, new cables, tires, petcock and more. It is possible to have us do a full restoration on it and return it to new condition including paint, graphics and upholstery.

This moped was manufactured by Benelli for sale through Montgomery Wards during the Mid-60’s. The 250-D model was equipped with steel leg-shield, speedometer, flip-up long seat, passenger foot pegs and tool pouch. The base model 150-D did not come with those features.

All around excellent Blue Motobecane 7 that we recently purchased locally to restore for a customer, but the project has been refocused to another moped. The engine just received a full tune up and it runs great! It still need some minor work and a fresh set of tires but this little French bike promises to make someone very happy for a long, long time.

Moby 7’s are a little unique in comparison to the more common 40 and 50V’s that were produced between 1977 and 1980. The 7 utilizes a rigid frame (no rear shocks), a rear mounted fuel tank and smaller profile wheels, which helps reduce the ground-to-seat height. This is a perfect moped for smaller framed riders. The engine is non-variated which keeps the mechanical things more simple, but don’t let that fool you into believing that this bike can’t keep up to your friends. Weighing in at under 90lbs, this lightweight little 7 can hold its own all day long with only half the effort.  $500.00

When you see this beautiful bike for the first time, you’ll almost swear that it was just fully restored with new paint, chrome, decals but it wasn’t. The cosmetics of this 1978 Red Moby are all original. Other than a few minor chips and scratches, it is almost perfect! It even has the original key and working fork lock.  The only thing that is nicer than the condition of the chassis is the way the engine runs. It’s smooth and quiet and promises to take you anywhere you want to go.

This wonderfully reconditioned moped just received a professionally rebuilt engine and carb, rebuilt wheels, new tires, and much, much more! Every moving part was fully serviced and inspected and every painted and chrome part was polished.

Back in 1978 this moped was purchased new and gently used by the family who only managed to add about 600 miles to the odometer. Sometime in the early eighties, there was a mishap with the oil that was supposed to be added to the gas…it wasn’t. That resulted in the engine coming to an abrupt halt and a very sad family. The moped was covered and stored in a dry and heated basement for the next 30 years. Through a friend of the family, we were able to acquire it and return it to its former glory!

This bike was never titled or registered, so it will need some paperwork completed for your local DMV. In Minnesota, mopeds that have not been registered or transferred within the last 7 years qualify for new titles, but do your own research; each state has different requirements and regulations.

For only $1295.00 you get an excellent Motobecane 50V, free delivery (local only), a 30 day warranty and endless smiles. We can also assist in shipping this bike just about anywhere.

Exceptionally nice but not perfect 1980 Puch Magnum II with a 2 speed automatic ZA50 engine. This is a great opportunity to purchase the infamous Puch Magnum without breaking the bank!

This bike has just been detailed and fully serviced and runs excellent. The bike starts on the first kick, and everything works as originally intended. This moped is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically, but could use a few details to make it even better. The tank has a few dings in it, the seat has a rip along the rear seam, which has been covered in cloth tape, and the rear trunk door is broken. The tires are not weathered but are starting to get soft and should be replaced over the winter Other than that, it would make an excellent restoration project for someone, or you can enjoy it and ride it proudly just the way it is.

The engine did get a fresh set of piston rings installed and a full tune-up was performed on it, so you are ready to go. We also ported and pre-setup this engine to accommodate a future performance chamber type exhaust if you decide to go that route. Adding a performance exhaust should allow you to reach a speed of around 40+ mph without changing any other stock items. This moped is sold without any warranty, but should be a very reliable daily rider. $795.00 delivered (within a reasonable distance) .

This Magnum doesn’t have a title, but we have verified that there is no current registration or DMV record, which will allow you to obtain a new title quickly in most states. Check your own State and municipality codes and regulations first however; as we can only guarantee a new title if applied for in the state of Minnesota here in the USA.

What is the difference between the Magnum XK, Magnum II and a Magnum MKII? The original Magnums starting in 1978 were the basic red single speed XK and also a heavy-duty Magnum MKII model that featured oil-injection, hydraulic suspension and a 2 speed ZA50 engine. The MKII also came with alloy wheels and a gauge cluster “Dash”. In 1980, the Magnum XK was replaced with the Magnum II. The biggest difference was that the Magnum II now came with a 2 speed engine (without oil injection) and a different paint scheme.

Super desirable and pretty darn hard to find 1978 Puch Magnum XK. This was a one owner moped and spent its entire life on a farm out in western Minnesota. It was very well cared for and has all the original extras like owners manual, tools, air pump and fork lock/key. The bike still has excellent paint, graphics and shiny chrome.

This moped features a simple 2-stroke E50 49cc engine and a fully automatic single speed transmission with a top speed of approximately 34 mph but has many performance enhancement possibilities.

It has a current Minnesota registration and plates that are good for all of 2013!

$1200.00 used and ready to ride, $1700 fully reconditioned!

Finding an all original, low mileage and perfect running Peugeot TSM is a very rare occurence for anyone. Finding one and not buying it is even more rare! This outstanding moped rides even better than it looks. There is no other moped ever produced that rides like a TSM. Top speed from the factory was around 38-40mph and it gets up to that speed very quickly.  It has been tuned, fully serviced and new tires installed otherwise it is just like it sat hidden away for 30 years. This would be a perfect candidate to do a museum quality restoration on it since what you are starting with is in all-around excellent condition! Current Minnesota plates and title. $1700.00 delivered.

This one is available to be fully restored only. It should be completed before Spring ..at least were hoping. If you are interested in this bike, contact us because we could move it up in the schedule of moped restoration so you are able to blast down the road by the time the snow is gone. The plan is to put this bike back to factory perfect condition with a fully rebuilt 505-1D engine, new painting, new graphics, cables, tires, etc, ….the list goes on and on! Full 30 day warranty on the entire moped. If you are familiar with vintage mopeds, then you know what a great fun these are with the 1D engine.

Here is a semi-complete…..okay, somewhat complete Moby/Riverside with a good AV88 variated engine. The model year should be either a 1962 or 1963 but we are not positive. You can either use this as a parts bike or the start of a restoration project. The frame is clean and in excellent shape but you will have to grind off someone’s attempt to weld on passenger pegs. The engine appears to be fully functional and is complete including variated clutch, magneto, carb and exhaust. Other good notable parts are the belt pulley, shocks, rims, handlebar and pedal crank. What you see is what you get.  $150.00.

If you don’t want the whole bike, we will remove the engine and pack it for shipment anywhere but the cost would still be $150.00 (plus actual shipping charges) This is for only the engine, exhaust, carb and clutch assembly.

1977 Puch TriRad available to purchase as a fully restored bike.  This ultra cool and rare TriRad is one of two we have right now. The other TriRad is metal flake blue…so, if nobody lays claim to it before we paint it, this one will go back to the original metalic red frame and off-white rear end/basket assembly and sport the original E50 single speed automatic engine. The trike will have a top speed of approximately 35 mph and have plenty of torque to get you up most hills with little effort. Also available is a pull-start option that can be installed for anyone that might have a difficult time with a pedal start moped. Think of the endless advertising possibilities you will have for your business with this retro ride!  Old moped trikes are perfect for parades and anyone who just wants to draw in some attention because that is what this unique moped does. This desirable and amazingly fun powered trike should be completed in April just in time for a springtime ride!  Restoration will return it to like new condition and will be offered with or without a matching Puch Maxi…you know, like his and hers.   Full 30 day warranty on the entire moped!

Check out the rear chrome fenders and 8 spoke wheels!
